 The giant sports equipment has signed a new contract with Cristiano Ronaldo. Nike will pay the Portuguese 6 million per year by 2014 (1.5 million more than the current contract).
 
 The information is verified by the Spanish newspaper Marca, but not officially confirmed by the U.S. company. The fact is that a new agreement, though both sides unwilling to confirm the hit.
 
 Confirming the news, Cristiano Ronaldo will be the football player highest paid by the multinational. Ahead of him, only athletes from the NBA Kobe Bryant (7,500,000) and Lebron James (9 million) and golfer Tiger Woods.
 
 According to Marca, the negotiations were due to early flirtation with Adidas for the German playmaker Luso.
