Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United ace, you can wear the shirt of Real Madrid in 2010. So says a report in British newspaper The Times. This would be the result of a political maneuver by Florentino Perez, who is a candidate for president of Spanish club, next to the player's agent, Jorge Mendes.
Hiring the player would be one of the platforms of Perez. Something like "if they want Ronaldo to elect me." This same type of move has been made in the hiring of Figo in 2000, when the Portuguese was also business by Mendes.
If the transaction is confirmed, it would be great news for Real, who have not won a Champions League since 2002, unlike Manchester United, Ronaldo's current club. In 2008, the English team was champion of the League, Premier League and World Cup. Anyway, whether at Real or Manchester, is better than Ronaldo will continue over the lawns and less on the track since the accident which smashed his Ferrari last week.
