Also known as Hypoactive Sexual Desire (DSH), that sexual dysfunction is very common in offices of sex therapy. It is characterized by a decrease or complete absence of erotic fantasies and desire for sexual activity. A person suffering from this illness often have difficulties in engaging with partners, as they complain about lack of intimacy or reciprocity. The frequency of sex is very much diminished, except in situations where the person can pretend pleasure even when unmotivated. At some point, sooner or later, the partner realizes, revealing marital conflicts.
