Based on my experience of more than 25 years as a
student, teacher, conductor and scholar of texts in our language classes
are taught in simple language and easily, because nobody know how the
particular difficulties each has - is fairly common a student having
difficulty conducting verbal and other, in accents, for example.
Therefore, I use a language that everyone understands and bring to the classroom are numerous examples from my archives, taken from reports in major newspapers and magazines, such as Washington Post, Folha de S. Paulo and Veja, song lyrics, advertisements, pamphlets, etc.. Because in this way, the person writes the best lessons - the visual aspect is reinforcing what is being studied. Also, my classes are very humorous, which loosens the atmosphere.
I also use different language to each class and, if necessary, explain the matter in another way. How many times have you been studying Portuguese in a book and not understand what was explained? This is because the author, who clearly has mastered the subject, did not remember that people of various skill levels - including lay people - could see his work. When I pre-university courses in 1987, I had class with a genetics professor who was coordinator of the biology course at a large university in the interior of Sao Paulo. Clearly he dominated the field, but could not transmit that knowledge to students. Result: even today do not know genetics. My classes are filled with tips and examples. See some incorrect sentences, extracted from major newspapers, magazines and TV stations: 1) The residents have solved the problem through an agreement with the entrepreneur. 2) Government creates new tax. 3) Herbert Vianna life-threatening. 4) The coach Scolari will keep the same team that beat England. 5) The accident has had three fatalities. 6) According to the doctor, there is no alternative. 7) The contract, roughly speaking, it favors us. 8) We thank the coach for the win. 9) population requires more security. 10) The City of Santos was invaded by the strikers. 11) For more information, please contact us. 12) Carlos Alberto Parreira will make several changes for the friendly against Japan Besides these examples, there are hundreds of others that should be avoided if one wants to speak and write correctly. I know everything that most people miss and what more is required in examinations, competitions and vestibular. There are numerous courses and service providers in the industry we serve. Modesty aside, WE ARE THE BEST AND HOW TO PROVE THAT WE HAVE WITH DOCUMENTS! PLACE AND TIME Minister lessons in schools, unions, institutions, offices, condominiums, businesses, saloons, shops, agencies, etc.. I also have a place in Sao Paulo - New in Brooklyn - with up to 10 people. Classes can be any day and time, including Saturdays and Sundays - the student and / or group chooses. And they can be individual, small or large groups. * If you bring a group ready, depending on conditions, may even win the course. INDIVIDUAL LESSONS Advantages: You have the teacher at your disposal, it has total freedom of choice and use tends to be better, because the only rate to be obeyed is yours. Disadvantages: Higher price and lack of contact with other people. COLLECTIVE CLASSES Advantages: The price is lower because the cost is divided by elements of the group, and there are living with other students, and we can even make good friends. Disadvantages: Supersede the decisions of the group.
