Portugal is a small country in the southern portion of Europe. It is a close neighbor to Spain but the great thing is that Portugal can hold it’s own in terms of its rich history, culture and people.
Portugal is a very charming and romantic place to visit. Many of the old churches and buildings from centuries past are still in good condition and are open to the public to explore and appreciate. It is also a favorite hangout of foreign tourist who wants to escape the chilling winters of Europe.

Evora
Evora is a city of fascinating medieval walls. Narrow cobbled streets
and have a range of excellent Roman architecture today. Many buildings
are covered with tiles and brick patterns, typical of Portugal. Do not
miss the Sé Cathedral, the museum of ecclesiastical treasures, a
magnificent Roman temple and the church of Sao Francisco (it is
fashionable to the skulls and bones of 5000 monks). Evora is also a
lively student city with lots of restaurants.
